Fresh Water Overfilling

Weird problem with my 235... "at times" while hooked up to the camp site fresh water supply, my fresh water tank will start overfilling. Water will actually flow out of the fresh water input fitting. Is there a check valve in line somewhere that prevents the fresh water supply from getting to my fresh water tank? Everything else works fine, pump, etc...

You need to turn the camp water off and relive the pressure by opening a faucet.

Then switch over to system water use, turn on the water pump and run a few gallons out of the tank.

This should reset the check valve.

Now turn off the pump and switch back to city, things should work normal now.

Do not turn the water pump on when using city connection.

Thanks for the quick response... just gave it a try and am waiting to see if the that fixed it. It's a weird problem and only happens about every 5th time I hook up to city water... Where is the check valve? In the head of the pump?

Additionally, make sure to use a water pressure regulator valve in line with your hose. Connect it at before your hose.

Check valve is built into the water pump itself.
