Front tire wear.

Maybe off topic, but I have a 2015 ram 3500 4x4 an I am experiencing heavy tire wear on the outside edges of the tires. The truck is just over a year old with 22k and towing a crusader 370BHQ. All together towing miles with the travel trailer and then moving up to the 5er is about 7500 miles. So the truck has been without a load on it most of the time. I have been to the dealership and had the alignment checked 2 times and they tell me that it's fine and that its just they way the trucks are made because of the straight axle. They also told me that a lot of people out there just choose to run their trucks until the front tires wear out because of the cost of a rotation with having the Alcoa wheels on the truck. Just wanting to fine out if anyone else out there with this year and model of truck is experiencing these same issues and is there any fixes.

Yes, mine did come with the NEXEN brand tires, I had wondered if it could just be the brand of tires that the manufacture is using.

Yea. I noticed the tires when I drove the dually at the dealer.

That would have been the first thing I replaced.

Let them wear, then toss em out!

I've only owned Fords, but that dealer response sounds like BS to me.

Yes any of them have there issues at some point. Is it frustrating to have this with a new truck why yes, but it can be fixed. I will say this even if I had know about the tire wear problem before hand I still would have purchased the truck, and frankly IMO I will take my cummins turbo diesel any day. In the end I was just seeing if anyone else has had to deal with or seen this issue. I do know after dealing with the local dealership here that I will probably take it to some place like a Firestone service center when I am ready for tires and have them run the alignment on it as well.

Right on.

I'm in love with my 3500 ram as well.
They are crap tires. Plain and simple.
Easy fix. Buy new tires. The dually is the only one with the NEXEN brand tires on them.

I think you will find a lot of OEM tires are junk. The goodyear's on my RAM 1500 are terrible. The factory buys them at a price point. I've herd that the OEM version of a tire will be different than one you would buy from a tire dealer, not sure if that is true.

I would not be shocked, a lot of places have lesser quality stuff they sell, looks the same but made cheaper for places like outlets and such.
