Furnace...fan doesn't stop?

So I fired up my furnace for the first extended use. I have a Crusader 297rsk. It seems.to.work alright, floor vents are hot....however the fan that blows air out of the ceiling vents turns on...in fact even when the furnace cycles off due to reaching temperature the fan still blows air out of the ceiling vents...it never shuts off...this can't be correct...ideas? Thanks in advance

If you have a Dometic digital thermostat, set fan to "auto" and it should fix it...

Furnace” - Furnace Mode
In this mode there are 3 fan speed selections:
Lo - (LOW): The fan operates continuously at low speed.
Hi - (HIGH): The fan operates continuously at high speed.
Au - (AUTO): The fan will be OFF.
Note: If additional indoor air circulation provided by the air conditioner
is not desired during Furnace Mode of operation, select Au
(AUTO) in the Fan Mode to shut the air conditioner fan off. If Lo
(LOW) or Hi (HIGH) is selected the air conditioner fan will continue
to operate on the selected speed.

I have a 351REQ, and I have the same issue, although I have gotten used to it. If I could fix it, I would. My trailer is in storage now, but I'm heading out next weekend and I will try to remember to check.

If I recall correctly, there are 3 modes...fan, heat, and cool. The fan mode has hi and lo, and both heat and cool automatically turn the fan on and run it constantly with a temperature setting.

Your fan mode will also have an AUTO setting....or it should. I haven't seen one that doesn't.
The fan being set on HI or LO will cause it to run constantly, which can help with condensation by creating air movement.
Just follow fonzie's instructions and you should be good to go.

With the weather changing there have been many threads about this topic. Make sure your fan is in the auto mode and that will solve the problem
