getting it stable
I have a 3200BHT and this weekend when we went camping, it rocked when someone walked in/out of the TV. I have the stabilizer jacks down and on a few boards so they're not fully extended as well as wheel chocks, I was wondering what others use to stabilize their TT from rocking when at the camp site?
I was thinking of bringing an extra jack or so to see if that may help before buying anything, but looking for others opinions, thanks

before buying you could just put the Lynx leveler blocks under it to support it...see if that helps. (or just some 2X4 pieces)
My thought went immediately to the steps since you said "when someone walked in/out"

I have my jacks on a cut 4x4 so they're not down all the way and wheel chocks, but it still rocks side to side when walking in and out. My Shasta never moved with the scissor jacks, like this one does with the electric stabilizers

We use the same thing (except I think ours are 6X6) under our electric stab jacks.
I meant put blocks under the steps. Before spending the money on those pedestal supports for them.
There are several different designs for those supports. Some attach to the steps and self store, some are just free standing pedestals that screw in/screw out adjusting for height.

bal x chocks will help. You can get them for wide stance also if you need that.

It may even take 2 of these. Great product I have been using on my last two trailers but 1 really did nothing for my 35' LaCrosse.

We wouldn't be without our X-Chocks....we use those AND the regular heavy duty rubber wheel chocks. As OC says: first thing on, last thing off for the X chocks.
We got the rubber chocks after wmtire told us about 'em. heavy duty with teeth molding in to the bottom side....better gripping. Got them at the big tool store, can't remember the name (senior moment) around $6.00 ea.

X2 what Weezer and the others say - X-chocks are the best investment you will ever make. The step support Weezer mentions is a good investment as well; we have one and it really works.
Finally to really "lock 'er down" take a look at JT Strongarms or the less expensive but equally capable ones from BAL.

Just installed steadyfast stabilizers last weekend. Didnt test them too much in the driveway but seemed to make a huge difference. We camp this weekend so will provide full report back.

You mentioned you didn't have the electric stabs down all the way, that's good. I'm disappointed in these type of stabilizers as compared to the scissor jacks I had on my previous TT. I have recently had a problem with them working but I got it figured out.
I use: X chocks, a scissor jack in front of the front tire on each side, and a stacker jack under the step.
Others will suggest some form of the JT Strong Arms for the shimmy.
I plan on something similar on the next trip and will give a report after we get back.
