Good Sam extended service plan? Worth it?

2014 Tracer 2670, Warranty ran out in June. Good sam offers a 6 year service plan for $1300.00. i can pay in installments. im just wondering if anyone has any luck with them? I am the type budget wise that can afford payments over paying one big lump repair if that were to happen. Has a service plan saved anyone any money on repairs? I like the piece of mind knowing im covered if something major goes.. thanks

Figure out your monthly payment on that warranty and sock that away for an RV repair account. We have only owned RV's for 6 years now but I honestly believe that *most* RV's are in decent shape once you get the warranty bugs worked out.

Of course you may have a fridge or AC go out and you would easily recoup your fees. It is always a gamble.

I have no experience with Good Sam but personally I would never give that much money to a company associated with the dump that is called Camping World.

We bought an extended warranty when purchasing our 2008 Georgetown 374...we presently have problems with bedroom slide, and used to date to resolve hydraulic system repairs, stair motor replacement, shower pan replacement....and will soon provide additional hydraulic system repairs, Power Awning motor replacement, and A/C fix/repairs. investment so far!!!!!!!!!
