Smile Hey......Guess what?????

Yep....finally got our first camping trip of 2013 in!
Turned out that we were gonna be free Labor Day weekend and I was able to take Wednesday and Thursday off before, so we decided to finally get a camping trip in. 5 NIGHTS!
I actually had to de-winterize the tt! After I got that done and prepped the tt for travel, me and Scooter headed out about 4pm Wednesday afternoon. The first night it was only us and one other camper on the other end of the campground. Thursday afternoon my brother made it down in his Class C and my wife joined us later that evening. Friday afternoon my 2 oldest grand daughters joined my wife and I then my sister & BIL joined in with their 5'er along with my niece and her family (husband & 3 kids). So that first night and the next morning were "special".
It has been a full year since we've camped, but the tt worked great. No problems at all. So we're still very pleased with our PT 303RKS.

I took a couple of pics the first morning, then kind of forgot about the camera. These first two I took when I was enjoying my morning coffee and Scooter was enjoying a treat and a cool drink of water.

This picture Scooter's giving my that look....Can we please go for a walk?

Put the camera down slowly and take Scooter for a tour of the camp grounds.

(chuckle) I think our Fids (kids with fur) learn that look before they're even weaned!

And what an adorable dog...with a great name! Now how could you even think about not giving in to Scooter's simple request to just go for a walk in such a gorgeous surrounding?

The couple across from us had three of those...one just like Scooter and two younger ones that were mostly white with a few light tan markings, all male.

She had her hands full!

It was hilarious watching them and our dog Fred competing for marking rights on certain rocks around the park....and wi fi poles...what's with male dogs and those poles? LOL

Sounds like you know Scooter pretty good.
He does make a pretty good buddy. Never barks.....unless I start to leave without him......stays around the camper...until I put a leash on him....then he knows it's time to go.
Helps to clean up around the picnic table when were through eating.
Biggest chicken I know. Always hops up in my lap when it gets dark.
I do have to carry 3 or 4 poop bags with me though.....'cause when he goes....he never goes just once.

refer to my post above...she was doing poop bag duty for THREE!

Well behaved they were though, no barking when she left 'em in the 5er.

She must of have her hands full with three of 'em. If they're like Scooter they have 2 gears.....sleep and goooooooooo!

Scooter will bark if I try to leave him in the tt, but at home he never does. I keep thinking I'm gonna train him not to by letting him bark til he learns it won't do him any good, but then my camping nieghbors would have to listen to it and I'm not gonna put them through that.
I did mention he is a big chicken....that could be one of the reasons he barks in the tt. Too scared to stay there by himself.

Gary.... Please get out in nature a little more..... Your feet need a little more sun. I consider it a great week if I can go with out shoes and socks for a whole week..... I have had four of those weeks this year.....

Well now ya see, you answered your own problem....

Scooter needs a little brother as a companion...he won't be bored and he won't be scared!

Boy you got that right. I use to have more tan than that by the end of March!
I will say after 5 days of taking the kids out on the pontoon....finding a sandy beach to swim....well they are a little bit more tan now.
