Hitchhiker Lift System

Looking for a lift to remove my fifth wheel hitch from the bed of my truck and came across the Hitchhiker Lift System on the internet. Does anyone have experience with this system? Also, my ceiling is dry walled and so also interested on any tips on installation. Any other ideas on removing my hitch without having to lift it myself is appreciated.

The shop crane is long enough for 6 1/2 ft bed trucks and works great for that. for 8 foot beds, you may have to slide the hitch back a foot or so to grab onto it.

The hitchiker looks like a nice and beefy product tho, if your rafters are up to it. I like the portability of the shop crane and use it quite a bit.

Yep, mine comes out in two parts plus the two bed rails and 4 pins.

When time comes I have an eye bolt installed in the garage ceiling and will hook this up and lift the whole thing out and put it on the dolly.

My hitch is a Pullrite Superglide and it is on a 6 foot bed. My garage ceiling is drywalled so I don't have access to my rafters.
