Check your bolts
We returned from a 6000 mile trip this early spring with our Crusader 5th wheel. Recently found a bolt had come off the rear leaf spring causing the rear axle to shift back & forth. Mechanic said bolt failed. Extended warranty I purchased didn't cover defective nuts & bolts.

Wow....started this thread in March of 2011 and it's still going strong. I don't get on this forum too often, but I do check in occasionally. It's great to see so many enjoying their PT campers. We are still lovin' our Crusader that we purchased approx. 2 1/2 years ago. Hoping to start getting in more camping trips this summer than we have the past few years. Happy camping to all and safe travels.

I'm new to this site and also to a camper this nice. (and it pales in comparison to many on here....jeez so many nice RV's) However, I'm a veteran of many campers....currently own several but they're all "hunting camp specials." I'm looking forward to learning from so many knowledgeable people!
