First check to see if your springs are flattening out. If so replace them. About $200 for parts.. Consider springs with more weight capacity, ie another leaf. It will be a rougher ride.

If not flattening, then add a Lippert correct track lift and Morride x factor cross beam or add a two inch box tube beneith your frame by a professional trailer shop. Weld on new spring hangers. Probably change out shackles too. Be sure ro take a look at your spring equalizer for wear around the bolt holes. Either one will probably cost $1500-$2000.

As far as the wear on the floor of the slide from the rubbing. Get a sheet of thin metal from the hardware store. Cut big enough to cover the wear spots. Add a bunch of silicone caulk and screw around the perimeter to make a watertight seal.

MMartin, mine did come with the heavy duty suspension as had on the touring units. Came with heavier duty axles, 16 inch tires, rims, and I assume slightly different springs. The giveaway is the yellow loading total gvw sticker is 2900 lbs heavier than the unit I looked at with the 15 inch, and similar gvw as the then offered limited touring edition package. As weighed, I am typically almost 2.5k under sticker ready to camp mode.
