In 2014 we bought a used 2011 PT Tracer 3150 which has essentially the same floor plan & quality as the 318BHS. I spent 2 hours looking-over the unit before making an offer & then the dealer performed a 2.5 hour PDI. Our dealer included a free pressurized leak test & re-caulking, adjusted the slide-out & awning tracking, replaced the battery & CO2 detector, etc. Since we bought used we replaced the stock tires & mattress before our first trip.
We camped for 3 seasons without any serious issues but recently replaced the 8.0 Dometic RV fridge with a $300 Whirlpool 11.8 residential w/$100 inverter & 2nd battery. Love the extra fridge space & having the propane OFF while traveling... I'd definitely buy another PT product but our next RV will likely be a MH...

About to join the ranks, I was between a Crusader 2013-2015 295 or 315 and a Keystone Montana High Country 305rl but Keystones are so expensive I decided on a used Crusader, most likely 295 bc the 315's used are way overpriced. I see a 2014 out there for $32K and a new one is $38K 2017, so will go used since the value on these things tank anyway. We only do 30-40 nights per year and just the wife and I.

Yours a 2012? I wanted 213-2015 bc it has auto leveling and darker interior and colors we like. I really don't like the new interior colors

We have a 2014 Crusader 325RES in the dark interior and the darker exterior color scheme - we added black slide toppers on all the slides too
It came with the auto level too 👍🏻
AWESOME combination

I wonder why PT Crusaders after 2015 don't have the slam latches on the Generator compartment in the front of the RV? I wonder just how much cost they eliminated but getting rid of those

A cam lock can be had for $5 or less and a slam latch for $15 to $40 depending on the brand/style. They would not be using the top dollar slam latch regardless and the prices they get on such stuff is way less than you and I can get......so my estimate is they saved about $0.22.

I wonder what their reasoning is? I like the slam latches but most of all we like the darker interior and counters found in the 2011-2015 model years.
Trying to negotiate a trade on 2015 Crusader 315 now

Funny stuff....our Crusader has the dark furniture and dark counters but we are looking at trading for a SOB model that has the lighter this time [emoji4]
