2014 Avenger 27 RLS. Had a couple of minor issues the first weekend, but have had a Greek summer with it.

Picked up our 2014 Lacrosse 323 champagne Touring Edition last Thursday. Took the kids out Friday and Saturday and we all had a blast.

Nice looking rig!

is it me, or does it looked like its sagging in the middle? Or is the side skirt making it look like that in the pic?

It looks like that to me too in the picture, but its not lol.

Yes, 2 A/C units. South Louisiana gets pretty hot in the summer. What kind of problems has it been in the shop for?

No issues at all pulling the camper with the F150 so far. Towing it home from the dealership I was a little concerned crossing the Mississippi River bridge in Baton Rouge. It is a steep climb. 3rd gear, 50 miles per hour and if i remember correctly, around 3200 rpm.

The fridge slide out underneath. 2 layers of plastic black , white. cardboard and Styrofoam.
The rubber wiper is wearing it away. I have seen others 323 rts that look horrible.
Need a wear strip of some kind, Keep a eye on yours.

Fridge defrosting on floor into cabinet by fireplace currently at the dealer for that.

Then some piddly stuff, adjust screen door to close right , replace trim coming off around door inside. warped cabinet door and drawer. A/c, could look outside when opening dump vent on unit.

Closet slide out leaked, dealer caulked the crap out of it and still leak.
Factory forgot to caulk outside trim skirt. Dealer said water came in threw there and ran on floor.

A friend of mine has the same unit. His fridge leaks on the floor and his fridge slide out underneath is a mess.

Other then that we love our Lacrosse 323rts-te-c

Unit much heaver then stated by factory or dealer. Tongue weight by almost 200lbs. more. Im pushing over 1100 lbs. on the tongue weight.
Not much in it either.

My chevy 2500 HD pulls it fine without sagging in the rearand plenty of power.
I would take it to the scales and make sure your safe when towing it.
front and rear axles weight and max weight and tongue weight .

It is a wonderful unit we really love ours!!!!! whats not to love it's awsum !!!

keep in touch and let me know how it goes for you with it.
Feel bad I may have scared ya a bit. Sorry for that.
These things come loaded with bug a boos. Just have to work them out.

Happy camping

Yes, I know. I have owned campers for over 25 years lol. I expect there will be some minor issues. But I do want to get it weighed. I will also check the fridge slide when I get home. Thanks.

Primetime Owner

We are full timers. Purchased a 2013 Sanibel in June of 2012. Pulls great and setup is easy. We love all the extra room and storage - 40 feet long. Tow vehicle is 2006 4X4 Dodge Ram 2500 (Cummins 5.9 w/Banks 6Gun) w/airbags and a Curt fifth wheel hitch. We added the 4 steps in place of the 3 step from factory, very nice upgrade. Washer/Dryer - over/under combo by Slendide, wife loves it.

Hi Barry,

It is the 3400 - which is the rear entertainment. We looked for months before we decided on this unit. I highly recommend Sanibel - in any of the 3 major floorplans, 3400 was our favorite. While it isn't perfect, on a scale of one to ten I believe we found an 8. That's pretty high up there. I recommend that when some one wants to buy a full timer, number one make sure it is full time warrantied - Sanibel is. Then list the needs, below it, the wants or extra's you desire. If you get 8 out of 10 you have a winner. The other option is have a unit custom built but then you are talking a significant cost increase. I believe that we have come pretty close to what we would have custom built in the Sanibel 3400.

We are full timers and use the tailgator all the time for our satellite cable service. It works very well for us. I carry an 8 foot step ladder with me and frequently set the tailgator on top of our rig - gets it out of the way of kids and animals and most of the time get a less obstucted view of the S/SW sky for better reception. Also use a Verizon MIFI for internet service - works great.

I'm hoping I can use the outside Satellite hookups and a small cable inside going to the receiver. It's on my list of things to try out. Thanks!
Sorry my previous message was in response to this question - I just failed to hit the quote button.

Thanks for the reply John. I would like to know how you determined that your Sanibel is warrantied for full-timing. I agree that it's well-suited for that, but the only information I was given was the PrimeTime Owner's Manual which says on page 3 (warranty section): "The Warrantor further makes no warranty with regard to any product used for commercial purposes, as a permanent residence or as a rental unit, or any product not registered and normally used in the United States or Canada."
I would love to know otherwise.

The dealer represented it warrantied as a full time rv (actually they showed me paperwork stating such - I will have to find it). The brochure Prime Time Manufacturing, Manufacturers of travel trailers and fifth wheels for Sanibel Features and Benefits refers no less than three times either by stating "full time fifth wheel" (page 29) or "full time rv'er" (page 48). This was a big deal for us because we were fixing to close a deal on a new Alpine - full body paint, generator, w/d, and lots of extra's and we found out it was not warrantied for full time. I will try to give more information on this.
