Deploy the awning and center the material on the tube and pop rivet the hem on both ends.

Yes, it may take a helper, but it really isn't too difficult. Don't extend it out to the very end like in the picture, but to about 1/8 turn before where it is in the picture.

Go to the end that has the most roller exposed and pull the material to where it is centered on the tube, roll it in and then back out and see that it stays centered. If it doesn't, center it again and pop rivet or get a smooth head sheet metal screw and install on BOTH ends. Yes, the rivets/screws will keep it centered.

I was unable to move mine at the roller no matter what I did! I did find it very easy to move at the trailer itself though...

My last TT had the same problem but not enough to cause a problem when rolling up. I too couldn't pull it on the roller. But, I could pull it in the channel on the TT if I took out the 2 screws they put in to keep it from moving. I didn't take them out to move it because then I knew the problem was on the roller end. I just never took the time to really get into it to re-center it on the roller. Seems to happen when you keep the awning at an angle for water run off and the wind "buffets" the awning around causing it to slide up the roller.

Another good reason for OC's awning poles and tie-down system.

I moved mine so it was even on each side but it still wrinkles when rolled up, it is twenty feet long and the tube has a banana shape, never really noticed it till after our first trip, tried to get it fixed under warranty but FR replaced the awning material only so the new awning material rolls up wrinkled to, they have a spec for tube replacement but mine did not quite get there.
