Ideas to mount towel racks

The titale says it all. I am looking for ideas to mount some towel racks in the bathroom of my 318BHS. Just got back from our maiden voyage and want to start the customization to make it functional for us. What is the wall stud situation, wood, aluminum, spacing? Thanks for the feedback.

I put mine on the door too. I didn't want someone tugging on a wet heavy towel unless the bar was well secured.

Did you use anchors or anything in the door?

X2 on the over the door towel hanger. I also mounted a towel holder near the sink using the 3M double sided tape. Works well for us.

We use the over the door hooks on the bathroom door as well as the single over the door ones over the sides of the shower. Work great.

i use an over the door rack for towels also. on my 5th wheel, i use the door to the washer and dryer.
grhodes50's use of the 3m tapes gives me an idea of using them to keep the over the door rack from moving around while traveling.
i just started using the 3m tapes (those that are designed to support hangers) inside the pantry to hang splatter screens and various thin kitchen gadgets. will find out if they will take the heat from when the trailer is not in use over the next few months.

we used spme of those no mar removalable hooks on the wall in the bathroom... just above the toilet, as long as you get the large ones , make sure the towel is hooked on well and the toilet lid is closed no problems

These will hold anything to the wall. I've even mounted cabinets to my trailer wall with these. Solid as can be. A towel holder would be no problem. I've mounted several towel holders to the wall with these.

I got mine at Lowe's but I'd bet they're available at many hardward outlets.
