The vent does not come with a filter. I used a filter with a plastic mesh on back side so it would not get sucked into the duct.
The filter was found at Amozon. I cut it to fit the grille frame.

I need to correct my post.
When I read the post about AC Filters, I looked up my invoice and used the wrong info.
I accidentally ordered the wrong size vent and had to return it and order again. The correct vent is;

Stock #: 60GHFFW14X08
14x8 White Fil. Return
Wall Ceiling Grille 1" Filter
Stamped Steel 60GHFFW

Thanks for the info. Screws are stripping out on or unit. Do the latches on the grills stay closed when towing?

And did you have to trim out the opening on the ceiling or did the vents fit right in?

I had to trim very little of the opening mainly just to make it square.
The grille needs 12 x 6 opening and is 1.25 in high. This made it close to the top of the duct so I placed a small piece of wood (6.5 X 1 x 1/2) across the grille in the duct to keep it open for airflow.

I have never had the grille open while traveling but I always check before opening the slide outs.
