LaCrosse 303RKS News

We just wrapped up all of the warranty repairs on our 303RKS, everything came out fine. Thanks to Roger, RV Guy, Olathe Ford RV, Leach Camper Sales and all of the others that made this possible. It all went as planned with just a few minor bumps in the road. The flooring got replaced, the nightshades replaced or repaired, the dvd player replaced, trim repaired, the bed struts replaced, all done and ready to roll.

We have had the unit out for a 2 night and 3 night trip to get some of the bugs out and get the cabinets and storage areas organized. We really enjoy our Prime Time LaCrosse. We know there wil be some issues with buying a 2010 unith that has been sitting on the dealer lot since being built, but we are prepared to deal with these after getting a great discount on the sale price.

We took a first short 2 night trip with some friends with their new popup and everything went well, even got a few fish bites with some tick bites thrown in. Both units had some minor issues, all addressed.

Took a 3 night trip last week to our favorite local Melvern Outlet Park to do some fishing and just hang out and tinker with the LaCrosse. Windy both going and coming, the TT handled great and everything worked great. We did have one problem, we were one of only two TT trailers (and the only Prime Time or LaCrosse) parked in the middle of a NuWa Hitchhiker Rally, we were severly out numbered and thought we might have to call in backup, we got a lot of stares and glares.

Again THANKS to all who helped bring our LaCrosse back to life. Like stated before on this forum, just need to stay calm and give things some time and most issues can be resolved.

Will have some pics of our LaCrosse at Melvern Outlet Park posted in the near future. By the way Gary the fish were not biting for us or anyone else, but sure was fun trying to catch them.

Ahhhh, but they will.......sooner or later they will!
It just gives me more time to tell my stories when the fish are biting slow.
You know how it is when you get a couple of fishermen around a campfire.......
.......well sometimes there just aint enough firewood!

Glad you got all the bugs worked out and had a good trip. Sounds like you and your friends had good time. Looking forward to seeing the pics.

We spent a lot of time by the campfire at our site overlooking Outlet Park Lake. I'll try getting the pics on soon, busy catching up here at the home port, maybe have time to slip down to the pond to check out the crappie, before heading out again with the LaCrosse, to Turbo's great state of Iowa to see the kids in Council Bluff and have the selling dealer take care of a couple of things they are responsible for. Got a new trailer waiting to be used up.

Aint nothin' like eating fresh caught crappie around a campfire and tellin' how you hooked each one.

How do you like the 303RKS? We love ours. Really like the room in the living area. Even with grandkids we manage to move around without tripping over each other. Great view out the large side window.

We both really enjoy the 303RKS. It has a lot of room and is very comfortable to stay in. My bride really likes the kitchen being U-shaped, the only bad things being the microwave is very tall for her and not enough plugins. It is better put together and more insulated than our old Wildwood was. It pulls good, tho with the spread axles and being set back further than the Wildwood it has taken a little getting use to towing it. All in all we have enjoyed staying in it and look forward to many more nights RVing in it.

Gary, it sounds and looks like you had a great time Easter in yours.

We like the view out of the large door side window also,I'll have to check Mrs. Wildwoods pics, she might have the view on our last trip.

I've towed in some gusty winds, 25-30 mph and the tt towed great. Been in rain a few times with no problems as well.

Here's a few pics I've taken looking out the large side window.

Nov. 2010. First time out in the tt.

March 2011. First morning camping last year.

Easter Weekend this year.

We have the LaCrosse 303RKS almost a year now, have taken several trips and logged about 6000 miles. We had several warranty issues that have been taken care of by Prime Time, Olathe Ford RV, Leach Camper Sales and myself. Some have been major issues and some minor. We feel we could of had issues with any brand and model, none are without issues regardless of what owners say (that should start a whole different conversation), the main thing is that the factory and dealers take care of them and make the RVing experience a fun one, I am sure we hear more about the bad ones than we do about the good ones. Ours was one that all ended well. We like the layout of the LaCrosse, the way it tows and we are looking forward to hitting the road again next spring.

Again Prime Time took care of everything along with the dealers. Would we buy Prime Time again, sure would.

Let's all keep talking RVing.
