Lacrosse 308RES
This was our first year camping. In the spring we purchased a 1994 Cobra by Salem 27' unit to try it out and see how the kids and us would love camping. We loved it alot, but found our unit alittle small for the 5 of us. So as a Christmas present for all of us, we took the plunge, and purchased a brand new 2012 Lacrosse 308RES. After looking at several other of the common brands, we noticed that they were all the same. You had bunks at the rear, a long hall with the sofa and table on one side with the kitchen on the other, then the queen bed in front. This forced you to sit at the table or couch and turn 90 degress if you all wanted to watch tv, or have the kids sit on the floor and step over them if you wanted something. We really loved the layouts of the 5th wheels, but that then meant we had to get rid of our Excursion, and purchase a pickup. We came accross the Lacrosse 308RES which had the 5th wheel floor layout that gave plenty of sunlight and seating for the 5 of us. Can't wait to take delivery of it this spring and head out camping

We saw one this weekend at the Boston RV show.one awesome looking TT.We are looking for a TT with the 2 chairs in the back. The dealer ordered this TT before the end of October ,2011. Lacrosse was throwing in touring package for free. A $4000 option. My only concern was the length being 35' 7". taking many 3-4 day trips i'm not sure if this is to long to be pulling all the time.My truck can handle it its just the length. Still thinking.

or TT is 35' long and we do about (11) 3-4 day trips. and (2) 10 day trips each year. I don't mind at all pulling it on the short trips. a lot of the groups we camp with have the larger trailers and 5th wheels.
