LaCrosse In It's New Home

Picked up the tt from the dealer today and finally got to put it in it's new home. Even though I measured several times I wasn't sure exactly how much headroom I would have. Looks like there's enough to get on the roof for inspections and cleaning. Another reason I went this tall was to make sure the slideout cleared the side braces.
Here's a few quick pics I took before it got dark;

It's really beautiful. Hmm instead of solid sides could you do glass instead so you can still see your baby? I'm wondering about wind. With the walls unfinished, couldn't a wind come along and lift? And too in a year the color on the siding might be a shade off so it wouldn't match. I'm another vote for convincing the banker to release those funds!

Actually it's not unfinished. These RV Carports with one panel down the side are common. The tt really doesn't get direct sun untill late afternoon/early evening when it's already starting to cool down some. It's just my "dream" to someday place side and end panels all the way down. Anyway, at least it's covered and the roof won't be exposed to sun, rain, hail, etc......

The base of the cover has 8 - 2' long rebars driven into the ground on each long rail and 4 on the short rail. The two long rails also have 3 moble home anchors screwed into the ground while the short one has 2. So it will just about take a tornado to blow it away.
