Landing Gear Problem

Hi all.

Got a 2011 Crusader 270RET with the motor-driven landing gear. Recently (accidentally) extended gear to the stops at both ends. Now, one side does not extend as fast as the other - only about half as much. They retract at the same speed, so now I have one side that's longer. I suspect I may have stripped the gears on the slow side.

Anybody experienced / repaired this?

Thought there was a flyer in the manuals about the landing gear system, but I can't seen to find that now. I assume the landing gear is a Lippert system, as everything else is -- can anyone confirm? The Lippert parts site has "Landing Gear Leg Repair Kit[s] by Venture", so perhaps Venture actually manufactured the components?

Thanx in advance for any insight here :-)

Nottie - perhaps our Customer Service folks can give you a hand if you want to send them an email at Prime Time Manufacturing, Manufacturers of travel trailers and fifth wheels

Best of luck.

Having done some more research, I think I need to pull the slow leg out and see if I can tell what's actually wrong -- did I strip one of the beveled gears at the top or did I strip the jack nut / screw? Then I'll call customer service and see what they reccommend.
