Larger 37" tv in Crusader 295rst
We upgraded the tv from the 32" to a 37" in our Crusader 295rst. It fills the space now. Also, upgraded to a nicer soundbar with wireless subwoofer! Ready for movie nights! Yay!!

Looks like a great fit. Did you use the existing wall mount or stand the tv came with?

We just did our maiden voyage in our crusader. Watched a few movies with the sound bar on. I did notice you can here the movie outside pretty good. Maybe I'm just deaf and had the sound bar too loud but thought about the neighbors. Must not be to much insulation on the walls

Had to use the stand because the wall mount plate was too small.

Details on the sound bar and subwoofer, please! DW is already in shopping mode for our new, yet to be delivered, 5-er, and upgrading the TV and entertainment area is high on her list. Thanks!

I actually think PT is using pretty electronics now. Samsung and toshiba. You may want to see how you like what it comes with before upgrading. I was shocked to see I liked the legend 32 inch tv. RCA sound bar had a buzz so replaced with toshiba bar and dvd under warranty.

What part of the mount was "too small"? If you need a new mounting plate for the tv side to match the mounting holes on the back of the tv, contact PT, they will send you one.

It does fit nice, no TV's in the Coachman we purchased in Feb and trying was seeing if a 39" would work, the opening measured out an inch too narrow. You have proven that to be correct.

The first thing I did when we took delivery of our Sanibel was replace the 20" tv (came with the Sanibel) in the bedroom with a 24". It fit the space between the overhead cabinet (over the window and dresser) and the front closet much more neatly. Don't mind the cord running up the wall. That's the power cord for the pedastal fan to the outlet on the ceiling.

The soundbar is the Samsung HWFM45C from overstock.com for $159.99. It also has Bluetooth so we can stream an iPod or iPhone through it. I was going to keep the Insignia soundbar that came with the crusader and just buy a subwoofer, but the cheapest subwoofer was $100. So I thought I'd upgrade the whole thing for $159.99 and have the wireless subwoofer, Bluetooth & much better sound quality.

I think the entertainment center is different in the new 295rst that are now being built. They eliminated the side cabinets on each side of the tv leaving the opening much larger now. They probably give you a bigger than 32" tv now too.

The new tv's mounting holes are 16 inches apart and the mounting plate we have is the small square one. We actually like the tv on the stand because the mounting plate held the tv in a crooked position. The stand guarantees that it's level.

I totally agree with the picture quality on the Legend tv! It was GREAT! Just too small for the space.

The spacing on the back of today's flatscreens is an industry standard called VESA and are in millimeters. VESA standard mounting depends on the size and weight of the tv (heavier and/or larger tv's have larger mounts on the tv side. So, your 16 inches equates to 406.4 millimeters. The VESA standard mount would actually be 400 mm. Call PT and they will send you a new larger plate for the tv side. The last one I ordered from them was actually a universal one with all the VESA standard holes already drilled for you. I can use that mount on any make/model tv.
As for the "crooked" position, that could be the plate mounted to the cabinet was installed "off level" or, when the original tv was dropped into the mount, it was in crooked (the "V" mount was probably wedged at an angle). You can lift it slightly, turn it, and set back down straight.
BTW - how do you hold tv on the shelf during travel?

We have the 32" tv in our crusader 315. I takes up the whole area so we can't go bigger but the picture on the legend is amazing. Even on the reg antenna it's crystal clear. We couldn't believe it.
