Latest Camping Pics

Just thought I would share a few pics of our last trip. DD, SIL and 2 grand daughters camped along with us using the pop up that I've named the Crappie RIG.
We had hard rain on Firday with some wind but not bad. Saturday and this morning were partly cloudy. We had sunshine and lower 90's this afternoon.
I gave another tour of the tt. Not counting family, I have shown the 303RKS to about a dozen people and just about everyone's first word as they stepped in the trailer was "WOW!".
Anyway, here's some pics.

We had 2 pull through sites that faced each other.

Movie Night! I set it up for us to watch a movie outside Saturday night. Everyone enjoyed it.

Grand daughter playing a game of Ladder Ball.

A pic of the LaCrosse.

Lake Eufaula State Park.
We camped in the campground named Dogwood Drive which has FHU's, 30 amp only. $23 per night.
The marina and boat docks are about 3 miles away. There is also a campground there named Deep Fork Campground. They have 30 ($21) and 50 ($23) amp hook ups but no sewer hook ups. There is a Nature Center and a small restaurant at the marina that serves breakfast and lunch.
Both campgrounds have playgrounds, hiking trails, tent sites ($12) and pavilions.

Maybe. Being a State Park they don't take reservations, but we might be able to work something out with them. The Rangers and park workers are pretty easy going and seem to be willing to work with people.
There is one area that can be rented. It has bunk housing, pavilion and a kitchen I believe. I'm not sure about any rv sites though.

Yeah we did. Besides what I showed in the pics we cooked hot dogs over the campfire followed by the grand kids favorite, Smores!

We went for a few good walks, day and night. At night the kids carry a couple of small electric lanterns and still get spooked!

The fish didn't cooperate very well but we did mange to catch about a dozen. However, all but a couple were too small to keep.

Of course at night we would sit around the campfire and solve all the world's problems.

We don't have the next trip planned yet, but I'm sure it will only be a few weeks away. That's the advantage of having campgrounds close by.
We only have one possible trip in the planning around 200-250 miles one way. That will be around the first of Oct for a Fall Frog Rally, Prime Time Edition. Most likely somewhere in central Arkansas. Details are still being worked out.

Great shots, guessed you were at Eufaula, knew I had seen it before, camped there in 09 for 3 days. You need to check out McGree Creek it's a nice park.

They repaved all the roads and sites over the winter. Now if they'll replace some of the electric boxes. Most are showing some wear, but all are functional.

I'll have to check Mcgree Creek out. Thanks for the tip.
