Looked at a 2013 318 Touring Edition

After seeing the ladder option I seriously considered trading our 2012. But alas, even a ladder was not enough to take a loss on trade in.

I really liked some of the features on the 13 but we like our 12 alot.

The one thing we really liked in the 13 was the Lane Furniture Sofa and hide-a-bed. That thing is sweet. I asked my service guy to look in to replacing ours.

Come on RVGuy, throw a Prime Time Lacrosse lover a bone and shot me a good deal on that sofa.

But I must say, the 13 overall is really nice.

Next addition to our rig, a Hensley Hitch, awesome.

Did uou get a chance to see what is new with dinette table? .....rvguy had indicated to me there were' better thing's' coming....I have been mia a while (new baby, super busy at work, trailer in storage etc. )... still love my trailer, just starting to visualize some mods I may be able to do come march when I get her out again!

We purchased our 2012 318bhs in november last year from them and have had the same experience. We brought ours in for the one year review with a handful of things to take care of. They took an hour going over it with a fine toothed comb and are taking care of things that were not on our list.

I have the 2012 Touring edition. I used it 3 times. But now I have to sell it. It has the sidewinder hitch attached which makes it very easy to tow with a short bed and the turning radius is amazing.

4:06 mins in the video the bumper mounted grill assembley looks interesting. Looking for ideas on how to maybe mount the forest river grill on my bumper rather than mount it near the front door area.

This would be a great adition to our trailer; after the first of the year I'm planning to talk to the dealer to see if they order the assembly and I'll make my grill fit; will need to extend the gas line or use the grill as a charcol grill.

I'll let you guys know what I come up with.....

How does that table function as a bed? ...

PT just installed the pedestal style table in my unit, since they still have it..I can't wait to see how it came out. When I inquired about it folding down to be a bed, I guess they install a rail around the inside of the dinette base for the table top to rest on..

Awesome...cant wait to see REAL pics and thoughts from a fellow member who has suffered from the previous design. ...I would really like to change mine out but taking it to pt or the dealer is out.....too far...but im an excessivly handy guy! !.. lol...please update asap...also what kind of price did you get? ...just curious....

My unit is at the factory getting some warrantee work done...since they had it , i asked about switching the table for me, and they hooked my up...maybe just a nice gesture since my unit had to go back for repairs. Their customer service has been outstanding.

Update on the post table. We went to the dealership to pick up our unit from some warranty work (thanks Prime Time). While we were there we looked at the 2013 table again. It is actually a double post.

After looking at it, we went inside and bought the required hardware ($50) and did this ourselves. We simply took off the collapsable frame. Painted the hardware black like the one we looked at, installed it and walla, easy to get in and out of.

And now the table wont walk around while traveling.

I will get some later today. The posts are removable, so the top acts just as it did before. It is kinda of thin for bearing weight, but looked the same thickness as the new one.

It is a system like the one shown in the middle (click the link). A cone shaped reciever in the floor and the table with a removable tube. We did two posts like prime time did and painted it black.
