We just purchased the '17 Crusader 338RSK, used it two weekends so far and completely dig it so far. No problems what so ever.....knock on wood. Heading back out tomorrow for a 5 day weekend at a park. Enjoying what's left of summer, enjoy your Crusader!

We have the same one and love it! Where did you find the tire covers? The ones we bought are too short and don't cover the wheels completely.

Bought them at the dealership when we picked up the trailer. Can't remember the exact size......threw the boxes away.
The brand is ADCO and the box they came in look like this.......

Trash pick up hasn't came today, so I just went out and dug through our trash....
Anyway, I found the old boxes and they are "Size 2". Hope that helps you.

Crusader

Got my Crusader 315RST almost 2 years ago and love the floor plan, especially after a long research. Sorta learned on my own since my walk through was only 10 minutes!!! I would strongly suggest operating everything. On my shakedown trip the water hookup was defective and had never been checked by the dealer, 4 Windows had to be replaced because they were difficult to open or could not be opened, hitch cover flew off, seal over one slide was split, cheap CD player was damaged and plpe water connection under kitchen sink was not connected oh yes, the LCI had to be calibrated. That being said, I think I now have a good unit. Have had no issues in over a year with around 7000 miles. Just got new tires after a Chinese tread separation. I am now a happy camper. Also the Prime Time customer service and parts dept were extremely helpful. My thanks to them.

texastravel.....I surely hate hearing about all the issues you experienced with your 315RST. Glad to hear that PT stepped up, but sounds like you had a lousy dealer.

I bought from a lousy dealer one time and I know the feeling. I found out the hard way it's always important of not only doing research on a trailer when looking to buy, but researching the dealer as well.

I was able to take all the time I wanted on our Crusader's PDI, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I only found a couple of cosmetic issues that they fixed on the spot. We also spent about 45 minutes in the trailer the week before when we went to just look. So we were able to look everything over pretty good before we purchased.

I have 50 amp service here at the house and can hook up to water as well. I have gone through all the systems on ours this past week and a half.....2 or 3 time each. So far so good.
I have also opened every window and all operate as they should. As well as every cabinet door and drawer.
All lights work. All waste tank indicators work.....how accurate are they .....slide outs work properly.....the leveling systems works properly.....awning works great.....entrance door and all baggage doors open and shut properly and lock and unlock easily.

I'm not going to say I won't have a problem sometime down the road, but as of right now I haven't found anything wrong other than those during our PDI. I like to keep a close eye on things. It's kind of fun tinkering around with a new trailer anyway, but it also helps me to spot potential problems and maybe prevent them from happening.

It's good to know that you have gotten all the bugs worked out and you are enjoying your camper. Thanks for posting your experiences. I'm sure it will help others.
