Maiden Voyage

We finally got our TT out on the road. Roman Nose was close to home and the weather was perfect! The PT Tracer was a joy the whole time without a single problem. It went far beyond my expectations. Can't wait for the first long haul.

Great to see you finally got the Tracer out and it's good to hear everything went well.

Great pics. Thanks for sharing.

Let us know when & where your going for that first long haul.

P.S. Next month we have training for 2 days at Roman Nose.
My son is currently working as a MWD on an oil rig in the area.
Both of us purchased our PT trailers at Leisure Time RV.
Small world, aint it?

Leisure Time were great. Hopefully the burn ban will be lifted when you go to Roman Nose, we could use some rain.

When I go up there it's for some job training. We'll be staying at the lodge. I could and may take the tt though. My option.

X2 on the rain. I believe the burn ban is almost state wide. We are still under it here and so was Marval Campground last weekend.

The temps are getting just about right for a good campfire in the evenings and they are calling for a 60% chance Wednesday.

What are the hookups at Roman Nose. 30 amp & water?

Maiden voyage

Glad to hear your first trip went well, we took our 2910BHS on it's maiden voyage 2 weeks ago and we loved it. I will be loading some pics from our trip to Paul Bunyan CG in Bangor,Maine, I really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and bigger BBQ.

Dennis

Roman Nose has a few sites with sewer. It's a pretty nice place to camp if you've not been there. Does get crowded in the summer as it's got lots to do for the kids and it's on Lake Watonga. Early in November the state begins stocking trout so it's a popular place. Being a state park, it is basically first come - first serve on the campsites.

I think the sewer sites and 50 amp might be found between the paddle boat pond and the bigger lake, where the general store is found, maybe also by the big lake docks. Where I camp I think it is 30 amp, no sewer, and you have to share water, so bring a Ysplitter. General store and Watonga grocery stores close 9pm or earlier so check your stocks before then.

its an aluminum pot made for the bamboo steamer in it. my wife is making sticky rice in that photo but it can be used to steam almost anything.
