Maiden Voyage starts Tommorow!
Well here is the rig. Almost ready to hit the road for our 3 day trip to the lake, supposed to be in the Mid 70's tommorow but only mid 50's Sunday and Monday. Not bad for the end of December huh? We have a lake side spot and hope like heck we didnt forget anything (Im sure we have).. Will post more as the trip progresses. Dont be surprised to see emergency HELP ME posts throughout the weekend ..
Sincere thanks to everyone who has assisted me through everything, hopefully now the fun begins.
Mr & Mrs. BT

Alright! Sounds great! Nice looking set up!
We are having some nice weather, although up here it's not quite as nice as what you're having. It is great that you are taking advatage of it.
Don't get too involved with the tt and forget to
Good luck and happy camping!

Enjoy your trip and nice weather! I'm heading out next Wednesday and the weather is expected to be 82* but dropping to 61* at the end of the outing.
You are bound to have lot of fun in your new unit! A small notebook can come in handy to keep track of items you need or for taking notes. I also use it to dot down notes for sites I like or dislike for future use.
Remember that we like pictures so feel free to share.

I wish we could camp all year instead of the four or five months that we get of decent weather before it is too cold to be enjoyable.

Cant Complain at all, We love this thing!
First trip has been fantasic, we learned so many things due to this forum we didn't forget anything - We learned that we have to start the Refridgerator the day before we leave and we learned the grey tank monitor dosent work - Minor details. Really cannot express the gratitude to this site. It has made everything a joy!
The weather is fantastic but it was near freezing last night and will be below 30 tonight, we learned that with two ceramic heaters picked up at wally world for a total of 50 bucks saves a lot of propane, I dont think the furnace came on at all last night.

So jealous! Can I ask where you're at? Looks nice and it's always great to see wildlife around.

The pics look great. Thanks for sharing.
Nice looking campground.
One thing about the electric heaters. They are great for supplement use, but your furnace also provides heat for the tt's underbelly to help keep tanks and dump vavles from freezing. So if your in below freezing temps for several days you want to make sure the furnace kicks on from time to time.
I really don't think you need to worry about it with the temps that your camping in.
Have fun!

Great pictures! If I were there I wouldn't want to come home. It looks so peaceful.
I take it the fridge is working ok now. Instead of running the furnace I use an electric heater instead. I will still turn on the furnace for a short period of time but mostly to make sure it still works. I'm in Southern California where it really doesn't get cold often. The only reason we think it's cold is because we dress for summer all year long.
What is wrong with the grey tank monitor?

Well it is freezing right now. 31 degrees and supposed to drop to 26 by morning. I have disconnected the city water line after filling the holding tanks to about 2/3 rds... Turned off the ceramic heaters to let the furnace run as well. turned on the water pump.. Anything I am missing or should do differently?
Supposed to be almost 60 degrees tommorow but I figured the hoses would freeze for sure in the AM.. Let me know .. Thanks
BT

Yes sir, fridge is working fine.. Had no idea it would take so long. Thank you for the advice..
We definitly do not want to go home. but we have to... need the income to pay for the toys.. *sigh*
Grey tank monitor says it is empty no matter how much fluids are in the tank.. A overfloowing shower is a good indication the tank is full however
