Memorial Day Weekend Camping!

We are leaving in the morning for Greenbo Lake State Park.
Where is everyone else going? Are you making it a long weekend?

We are making a 4 hour trip from Albuquerque to Alamogordo, NM. Plan to visit White Sands National Monument for sand sledding, space museum for an IMAX film and the local train museum. We may also even make a visit to the zoo there. It will be a long weekend for us. Should depart around 1200 tomorrow and return Monday in the afternoon.

We camped last weekend since my wife has to work this weekend. Only three other campers and one overnighter all weekend. I'm sure the campground will be full this weekend though.

Everyone enjoy your Memorial Day weekend and have fun!!!

We're off to Four Winds in Portageville, NY, near Letchworth State Park. Supposed to be rainy, but we are hoping for the best.

Unfortunately we aren't heading out until July. Someone in this family still works for a living and that's her vacation time. We are thinking of a three week trip throughout all the New England States. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Be sure and wave as you pass through Gillette, WY on I-90. I can see the interstate from my house.

Early tomorrow morning I'm headng out to Prado Park (Southern CA). I'm staying close to home where I can avoid any freeways. Last year it took 4 & 1/2 hours to get to the CG at the beach when it's actually just under an hour drive.

We've got 5 days at the North rim of the Grand Canyon but don't arrive until Monday when everyone else is on the way home.
