Missing the Sanibel

After our 3 week shakedown, we returned the unit to the dealer to work on the short punch list we generated. Its only been 6 days since we dropped it off and missing it a lot. Wow, I sure didn't feel this way with my last trailer, which was a 19' ultralight. Must be coming down with something.

The medical term for it is called 'camping fever'.

It's highly contagious.

I feel the same way when our rig has been at the dealer. I'm lucky in that our dealer is about 3 miles from our house so I can go and peek at it...

I guess since mine is just parked not in for service I am not getting that feeling, but I am on my countdown to my big vacation trip to FL right after the new year.

Heading that way too. Christmas in Charleston, SC and then heading for Florida and staying south until the weather warms back up in Southwest Virginia.

If work allowed me to telework, I could easilly see myself doing that. But alas I am still tied to an office for my paycheck. So this is just my vacation. But I will enjoy the 2 weeks down there away from the daily grind.

Mayport Naval Station RV park- 12/28-1/10, Adeaide RV Park, Avon Park, Fl 1/11-2/9, Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort and Campground, Mayo, Fl 2/10-2-16, then open 2/17-2/22 (most likely Pensacola, FL) and then head out to Louisiana for a couple of weeks. Check weather in Virginia, if cold we will stay where it is warm. I should check my calendar for any important meetings. Oh yea, retired.
