More 27.0 RET Crusader Questions

Guys,
OK, we have some other questions on our rig. I have tried to contact PT without any Luck........ so here are our problems (well not really problems just No Answers!!!)

Does anyone know where the Galley tank drain into?? We have a black & gray valve, but No galley. Also there are 3 pet cocks - one marked Low Point Drain (which I know) the other marked fresh water drain (which I also know) but the the other is on a Red line(coming out of the bottom of the floor) Not Marked, so any ideas on this one???

I am wanting to change out the blubs through out the house to LED only I don't know the watts of the 921's that are in there now??

Also here is a Real Good One - the radio/DVD player keeps coming on by itself. Now I have tried everything I know to do, looked on the remote to make sure it set to Off. However it Only has On/Standby on the unit so any help with this would be Great?

Thanks ahead of time for the Help.............

There should be another valve pull handle for the galley grey up under the skirting in front of the wheels. Same side as the other pulls. It goes through the frame. The red drain cock is the hot water low point drain. Can't help with the bulbs but the radio coming on May be caused by the fire place remote. If you have one remove batteries and see if the problem stops.

It has been a while since anyone asked about the radio coming on but that question has been asked before. Sorry, don;t know if it was ever resolved.

Is your radio the Jenson Radio/CD Player? You might have an Alarm set.
To set the alarm,
press and hold the ALARM SET button (9a). The number representing the hours will flash. Rotate the TUN/TRK control (12) to adjust the hour. Press ALARM SET again briefly and the number representing the minutes will flash. Rotate the TUN/TRK control toadjust the minutes.

Press and hold the ALARM SET button again to store the alarm time.Once a time is set, press ALARM ON/OFF (9b) to turn the alarm function on or off.

Our DVD/Radio would come on at random times as well. Best way I found to fix it was to replace it!

You should have three pull handles. I have a 325res and I was missing a handle. Should be universal handle just screw new one on. Make sure you put a little lock tight on it or it will come off again.

Here are a few photo's of a few things we have mod'ed, we have several more items that I would like to share with you: Just let me know.

Sent you a private email: On the LEDs, that is pretty easy has we have changed out everyone in and outside of the coach: You want a WEDGE 194 type bulb, we purchased like 40 of the wafer type LED's, not as bright as the Filiment Bulbs, but are a lot kooler. Can send you a picture, all were purchased on Ebay: All the running lights have also been changed out too, as well as the tail-brake-turn signals. Also have installed 300 Bright White LED Ribbon lights in the Cargo Compartment and Front Battery Compartment, really makes one heck of a difference: Have Photos also:
Step lights inside and outside on one switch, similar to a Sanibel:

921 bulbs are 17.9W according to the ones I saw in the store. Each 921 bulb is a 1.49A draw.

Just curios if anyone knows how many 270RET’s were produced before the floor plan was discontinued?
I found this last week for the bumper. I have not tried them yet. Sold with or with out tether. I purchased the tethered ones.

Hey
I am not sure how many were made, but maybe someone will come up with a number. As to the cover can't make a comment as I have the pvc pipe attached to our bumper.

E-mailed Primetime R.V. with the question, how many 270RET’s were produced before the floor plan was discontinued? The response was …………..“300 units were produced and sold”.
