FWIW, my 07 Work and Play is black. It was VERY faded when I bought it.

I wet sanded the whole rig with 1000 grit, then started wheeling. (4) different level of compound / wheel steps. It's not perfect, but it's A LOT better.

Looking at some of your pictures, some wet sanding and wheeling, you'd be sitting pretty.

Decals are not salvageable.

I tried Poliglow it did not work.

The problem is the fade will just come back. I have polished and waxed mine 3 times this year. It looks like hell again after about 2 months.

Our rig is back at the dealer again to be repainted. I am supposed to pick it up for our annual New Years camping. So far they have removed the decals and it has been sent to the body shop for painting. I hope this once and for all fixes this.

I'm having the same problem. Been waiting on a call from the dealer for over 2 months to bring it in and have it repainted. My patience is running out.......

I wish you luck. Re. This problem I got none. I'm having to get the paint repair done on my own at a cost of 1,000-1,500.
The only good thing I got from the factory was a partial set of decals, so the front won't be a blank nose cone.

Mine was supposed to be painted Thursday and clear coated fri. Hopefully I can pick it back up early next week. All covered under warranty from the great folks at Prime Time! They truly have been outstanding when it comes to taking care of the customer. The dealer on the other hand, well...... We all know how that goes.

I have to challenge your opinion about the approach. When manufacturer claimed the damage fell under the clause "all surface damage caused by environmental effects voids the warranty".

Just what approach would you use to challenge that claim.
