Yep picking it up this weekend sorry for getting cranky but was on another forum and all they did was jump down your neck if you didn't get what they told you to. Anyway here in Saskatchewan I can't find an equalizer for under 750 plus another 150 install at the dealer. So I picked up a Reese and a set of air lift 1000 for 600$

bunk man, no problem. Sorry for the "pushy" ones on here. The set of air lifts will be awesome. You are right that $750 plus install is a bit pricey. I see why you went with the Reese. It should work good for you too. Again have a blast with it.

When do you pick it up?

Did you get th dual cam for sway control with your Reese? You either need that or 2 friction sway control devices.

steelshark, the system he is getting has an integrated sway control. Where it connects to the trailer, the bars ride on a metal pad that is connected to the trailer frame, similar to the Equalizer. He does not use chains.

A word of caution...careful with using the air lift 1000's to level the truck. With a W/D hitch, you really don't need air bags. Pay very careful attention to any change in front ride height as an indication of taking weight off the front axle, which is bad.

Don't worry I don't plan on leveling the truck with the bags when pulling this trailer

Bunk man...I just got back from Florida...I live in Syracuse ny...towed my 318 there and back...I have a Reese dual cam setup...and I was great...I have been told by several people that Reese is he way to go....but everyone has there opinions...I have the strait line 1200 truniion setup with dual cam...the only time I had any sway was in high gusty winds or once in a while a tractor trailer....anyway I looked at the hitch setup you are talking about..it would fit mine no problem...and I am pretty sure your front tongue design is similar to the one on mine...hope that helps

Okay, been reading, now I have a question. I have the above mentioned setup on mine. On backroads, speeds 55 everything seems okay. When I get on the four lane with trucks, speeds about 60 I feel that mine wants to sway a little...I have been working on getting everything adjusted. I am wondering, do I need to put a little more tension on my bars? I was thinking about adding an additional friction sway bar. Any suggestions?
