Non functioning side marker lamps on a 28RL Crusader.

I have a 2015 Crusader 28RL, I have just noticed these marker lights do not light up. Before I dig into why, are these marker lights or turn signal lights? Since they are low, they would make good turn signal lamps to indicate to a driver on my sides.

They are just marker lights. The feed wire for these lights went behind the furnace and into the under belly. I believe the wire was cut/or pinched when the dealer had to replace the fresh water tank after the PDI. I just fed these marker lights from the marker lights above the propane tanks. I am not sure when these lights quit working. If you own an RV there will always be something to fix:-)

Marker lights are usually a pain on any trailer and usually do not work due to a ground issue. I currently own 5 trailers and have owned many over 30 years. My box trailer has 3 out now. (the lights are very cheaply made).

Good Luck......

Since it is a fiberglass trailer they do run both a 12v and ground to each fixture with a two conductor wire. It was real interesting how they ran the wires. You would think it would be one side then the other, but these two lamps were the last ones on the end of the chain and the wire went across. This failure was on the feed to these two lamps from the under belly.
