X2 great idea! Or maybe a trip to the factory will get it done.
Let us know how it works out

It would cost me twice the repair bill to go to Goshen and beg the people I gave 10's of thousands of dollars to, to pretty please fix their faulty product. Standing behind their product is issuing a voluntary recall for their well known faulty finish. You call a number and they issue a WO authorization. It's not safety, but it takes from the enjoyment of their product and the re-sale value. It alos hurts their name. I read one in particular thread from a year ago on here. The person was looking for a new camper, saw a new Wildcat with the grey cap ,badly oxidized. They went to Keystone instead because of that. Good 'ol Warren Buffet has got the bucks to take care of us loyal owners. This is my second Forest River trailer in 5 years.

Have you talked to wildcat about this?
Have you reached out to wildcat Chris who is on here about this?

If not, then there is no way they can help you since they don't know that you even have any issues.
