X3 on air admittance valve. By the way, you can get them at Lowes/Home Depot with out the RV markup.

Smell under kitchen sink

We had this smell coming from under the sink area, which is where we kept a garbage can. We would take the garbage out but the smell was always there. I finally realized we were using scented garbage bags and the smell was worse than the garbage. We switched to un-scented bags and problem was solved. Go figure.

Put 3-4 gallons of water and an oz or two of Odoban down sink. It should eliminate any problem coming from the grey tank.

I take my vent and soak it in hot soapy water then wipe off the surfaces on the diaphragm and plastic. Works for me.

The odor from ours turned out to be from a cracked vent pipe (from sink that goes to roof) that apparently broke.

Hey thanks for the tip. I did not know that. I will check tomorrow. Right now we have the honey wagon hooked up to the grey tank and letting it just go straight through. No smell.
