Outside Kitchen on the 318bhs

Well I found out why my black tank kept filling up rapidly...The outside kitchen sink drains into the black and not the gray water. Water was not draining in the sink of the outside kitchen.....Thought I had a clog ...emptied the black water....sink drained.

Hmmmm... that could be good, or that could be bad. (Thank you, Captain Obvious!)

Anyway, I'm always looking to get less fluid in the gray and more in the black when I'm without hookups. We often do the dishes in a dishpan in the sink, then dump the dishpan into the toilet. More water in the black is good, as it keeps the solids moving when dumping. Less water in the gray is good because we tend to overfill the gray with showers.

Whatever, it might have been nice if they had told you that little detail in the owners manual or during the delivery...

Our 318 BHS has a big sticker in the sink that says " this water drains into black tank"

Have the same unit only the tracer 3150 and there is a sticker in our sink as well alerting black tank drain.

Ah, I have a 2011 made in September of 2010..I guess they wanted to let people know and not discover the fact on the 2012's.
