Outside Kitchen Suggestion
I took the small drawer and slideout cooktop out of my outside kitchen today to get to the plumbing to replace the faucet. Boy oh Boy - I'm almost sorry I did. My big topic with RV Trailers is the wasted opportunities to make use of space. Here is a glaring example. Under the counter in the outside kitchen, most of the space is unused. The drawer could have been bigger (wider or taller, I think) or a couple of drawers, the sink could have been significantly bigger (front to back), the faucet should have been more like what the high profile bar sink faucet I put in (than the very low profile bathroom faucet that was there). I could even see back to where the drain pipe goes and see extra space behind the cabinet area in the bunk room that was just closed off. Just sayin that if someone wanted to make this space more storage friendly, it wouldn't take much to make the design a bit more efficient.
thanks

I agree they waste a tremendous amount of space, but I think a lot has to do with not wanting the space used due to loads. They can't possibly be that inept at design.

I just went to home depot and bought a taller faucet with a sprayer. I should make the sink much more usable. The outdoor kitchen makes a great fish cleaning station and a sprayer will help with cleanup.

I don't know that I like everything about this one better, but it does seem that a little more thought went into maximizing the space utlization.
If I can, I'll put a a pic of my outdoor kitchen for comparison.

Mike, I plan on changing out the outside kitchen sink on my Tracer 3150 as well. Can you share your experience with the steps used to complete this project? I'd like to knock it out without the extra steps if possible.
Thanks, Joe

I just replaced the faucet. I flipped the catches on the sides of the drawers for both pull-outs. I removed the drawer guide on both sides, the one nearest the sink anyway. On the left side (drawer) the wood brace for the drawer was in my way, so I removed the other drawer guide and rotated the wood brace out of the way (conveniently only held in place with one screw (now 2)). After that the plumbing was all finger managable, no wrenches required. I'd love to replace the sink also, cutting the appropriate hole for a replacement sink. Next project.

As promised, here is the picture of my outdoor kitchen, that I really do like, but think Prime Time coulda/shoulda made a bit more space efficient.
