Trailer looks nice. I always enjoy seeing one set up for camping. How did the outside kitchen work out? I can see where the outside door to the bathroom would come in handy.

Looks like you had some nice weather. We'll be camping in a couple of weeks and hopefully the weather will be nice. So far we've camped in rain, high winds, severe storms and cold temps. I think I'm ready for a nice weekend.

Thanks for sharing the pics.

Ohhh, Kiptopeke ! I love that camp ground ! Looks like you were in one of the open sites ! We always managed to get one of the shaded sites (by a miracle) close to the road. The beach is the best !!!!

I hope you had a fantastic time !

Are you going to tie your awning down? Some say it is okay with our type of awning. I am afraid that is will mess something up with the motor etc. It still seems like the awning would flap alot in the wind.

I've wondered the same thing. I could tie it down, but there is no way to install de-flappers. Without tie downs if a gust of wind comes up the awning can "fold back" which helps keep the material from ripping off the trailer. Sort of the same thing that de-flappers do.
Tied down without the de-flappers the awning material will be absorbing all the wind gust's energy which could cause the awning material to detach from the trailer.
That's one thing I miss about the manual awnings. I have had mine tied down with de-flappers installed in some decent wind conditions and never experienced any problems.

Of course if it's too windy or if a sudden wind gust does come up, I do roll up the power awning.
