Prime Time Tracer 248 AIR

Hello to all Prime Time owners. We currently own a 2013 Flagstaff HW27KS pop-up camper. We owned a Dutchman pop-up camper for 18 years before purchasing the Flagstaff. We are at a point in our life where we should have more time to camp (10-12 weeks a year) and are thinking about purchasing the Prime Time Tracer 248 AIR. Looking for anyone who may have purchased this newer model and their comments about it. One concern we have is the thin, plastic sky-light in the main living space. Seems it would get loud when it rains. We would greatly appreciate any pros or cons anyone has about this unit.

Just my two cents. I have a tracer air 250,and for what it's worth, I don't think they are designed to be used that much in a season. I camp 30 nights per season, and I believe that's what the typical rv trailer is designed for. Anything much beyond that and they just can't hold up to the abuse and things start th break or wear out prematurely. The welds on the aluminum frame are spot welds and look like they will crack without much trying (ad a result of prolonged trailering).

Again, just my thoughts of owning a tracer for a year, and going into year two of ownership this month.
