If you could turn back time before you bought your primetime rv and you could change your mind and buy some other rv would you? What would you buy?

im sure as many others will probably say i would have bought a bigger unit. Prime didnt have the spartan toy haulers at that point or i might have considered one....as far as if i had the opportunity to pick another brand of unit with the same/similar floor plan as my 318bhs NOPE......i still feel the prime has/had the best value for the $, the best over all customer service, and the better of the finish of the similar units we had looked at....i have had mine for almost 3 years, and its been a great unit, save for small issues that i would expect from any manufacturer...

with that said, ive already talked to my dealer about ordering a new f450 platinum, and my wife and i are leaning towards either a sabre qbok or a XLR thunderbolt amp..........possibly a spartan if the larger units are out by the time we want to order....we may even keep the 318bhs as well....

I really haven't found anything with the feature set for $$ and floorplan we love that beats what we have (and we are always looking). I would buy mine again. It's not perfect but darn close.

I would agree with everyone else. For the money, quality and styling, and a outstanding customer svc from prime time I would buy mine again in a heartbeat. I did look at the grand designs but we like the interior of the crusader better so we went with it. They continue to improve things so I will be looking at prime time again in 5 yrs or so when we upgrade again.

if we saw the prime time tracer when we bought our first TV, we would have bought it instead of the shasta, hands down.

Darco wrapcrap deal breaker for me

Primetime and Grand Design Reflection would be on my short list.

That said:
I will never buy another unit with darco wrap crap on the bottom of the slides again from any mfg.! How about a real fix!!

Other then that they make a great unit! (based on the rv qc curve)

I have heard from this forum that pt is getting away from the darco on some units now.

We love our lacrosse!

out of curiosity, wasnt the darco issue limited to certain specific models of trailer?...i keep looking on my 318bhs slides to see a torn, worn , mess of darco....but nope....still good as new? i never read the ENTIRE thread, but it seemed like the majority of worn slide issues were on kitchen slides which i dont have. hopefully my darco stays just like it is! lol....prime has always used darco on some slides and not on others.....are they transitioning to all non darco slides?

We LOVE our PT unit. We are so happy we went with them. We are very lucky in that we also have a great dealer.

Grand design would also be on our list, but it is out of range for our tow vehicle.

This is our 10 year rig.

I cant answer to all of your post questions. And dont want to highjack this thread. My wear -kitchen slide / pt calls "floor brace" laminated slide bottom.
No fix offered IMO that will last and prevent water damage. That said Im a little gun shy about buying another unit with that darco wrap crap on it.
Slide out /Underside wearing

We love our lacrosse!
