Primetime Sanibel 3500 Mattress Issue

I have a 2013 Sanibel and have been out in it going on two months after a 3 week shake down. I have noticed that the mattress fails to recover and leaves a valley where I sleep. My wife, who is slightly over 100 lbs has a valley on her side that fails to recover. I don't expect the dealer or Primetime to do anything about it, for I think it is usual RV business to put in inferior mattresses in these units. Complaining to them would be a waste of my time, for I am starting to find this out. What has other Sanibel owners experienced with their mattresses? What would be a good replacement? My back is starting to feel the pain and I need to do something soon, for I still have 3 months on this current journey. Any assistance would be appreciated.

The RV mattresses are crap... You will have to figure how much you wanna spend and research the best for the money. We(broke) got a 2" "keep cool" memory foam topper from amazon for $75 no freight. I made a WONDERFUL difference. People brag on Walmarts $150 deal. Money first..then decide.

Don't think a topper will help. The mattress suppose to be a memory foam, but it appears to have lost its memory.

Lol. Must be "Chetty" foam...I lost mine years ago. These "decent mattresses" are $700 and up. Heck I didn't pay that much for my Serta at the house.
Ps: measure your mattress before you assume short queen...ours was regular queen.

We have the Denver RV mattress. It is more comfortable than the one in our home.

Got a standard queen Serta in the lite, ended up with a 2 inch topper because it is hard as a rock.

It sleeps much better now!

We replaced ours with a sleep number mattress from a camping world sale and we would never use another mattress in the Rv.
