Problems with Docking station location in Crusader295

Anyone else having problems with hose connections in the docking station? If so has anyone found a solution? Work area hard to access as door doesn't open fully.
Hope I explained this properly as hubby on way to WM to try to find short hose to simplify the problem.
Thanks.

Ok here is a wild idea that may work. On my Cedar Creek the black tank flush was missing the rubber washer that is required to seal between the hose and the hose connection in the docking station. This prevents water leaks when the hose is installed. See if the washer is missing or cut simply replace/install one if required. See if this stops the water leak.

Just a guess as I can't see the your unit.

I purchased a hose adapter at CW that looks like a hose bib with a hose. Connection on the bottom making it easier to hook up a hose. I leave it attached at all times a nd. It gives me an extra faucet.

We have a Crusader 270RET. Because the water hose comes up from the bottom we purchased a brass 90 degree elbow that we leave connected in the docking station. Available at wally world for under $4.

We did the same thing on our Lacrosse 327RES. Works great. And yep....$4 at Walmart.

I concur the 90 degree brass fitting is the way to go, I also just leave mine installed all the time. That way the hose does not kink when you run the main hose out the bottom of the docking station.

We did that too and just leave the 90 degree elbows connected all the time.

Here's my setup (sorry if pic is sideways). Not shown is a rolled up towel that I stuff in the lower opening to keep "critters & bugs" out. The tight fitting towel also helps relieve the weight of the hose & filter from pulling on the docking station fitting.

I use a 90 degree elbow fitting and attached a quick hose connect fitting on it works great and is very easy to connect or disconnect the water hose.

We also put a Brass 90 on the city water, and I use the shower hose to hook up to the black water tank flush

I've found that if you use a dedicated hose directly from the CG's spigot, you get better pressure for the spray nozzles in the tank. If the CG is quiet and you try it both ways, you can hear the difference. Although flushing with HOT water once in a while might not be a bad thing?
