Pull out sofa bed

Was at the rig today and putting some things in it. Went to put the mattress in the pull out sofa and noticed the framework is bent. Never even picked up on this during pdi. Anyone have this problem?Click image for larger version

When we first went to the RV on the lot I'm not sure if it was in there or not. During pdi it was laying across the main bed. I assumed it wasn't stored in the pullout couch and maybe they keep em inside or something.

When we did our PDI I ask that we could see how it worked,
The mattress was in the sofa not on the main bed.

I am real surprised by the amount of damage to the frame.

Yeah it was prob my fault as I was rushing thru the pdi. I was up against a big snowstorm and rush hour traffic and wanted to get on the road. I did ask why it wasn't in there and they gave me some reason. Never even questioned it. Anyways I gotta get it fixed.

Fixed?

No man make them REPLACE it.
Be sure to send pictures to the factory as well.

IMHO the damage was done before or during install.

If you have a replacement on the way that's great.

I would brace the off side with a 2X4 and jack it out.
Or I would use the 2X4 and a 4 pound hammer and try to hammer it out enough to fold.
