Pulling a 308RES at 35' 7"

Trying to get feedback on pulling a 308 Lacrosse at 35' 7' for many 3-4 day trips. my concern is the length .I know my truck can pull it. Thanks for the feedback!

backing?

Just driving down the highway pulling a 35 plus ft. even with a weight distribution hitch how would it handle .some one told me if you pull a 35 " TT you won't like the feeling going down the road .I realize its long so going into camp grounds or even gas stations you have to use your head.The other TT i'm looking at is 3ft. shorter.

ours is 35' and tows great, I have the Reese Dual cam. like with any trailer you have to really pay attention while towing.
when we fill up DW will help me get in and out of the station- more worried about the other drivers.
have had a few tight campsites due to trees, just take it slow and get out and walk it if unsure.
I also use Google Earth to look at the campgrounds and sites prior to booking sites. did this with both trailers - so far so good!
the truck and TT we have now is 8' longer than the last truck and TT we had, it took some getting used to but I'm doing just as good with this set up as I did the other.

My trailer is about a foot shorter, but if you have a similar truck and integrated sway control hitch you will have no problems. A longer trailer will catch more wind, but that is about it.

Mine pulls better than the 28 footer I traded in. I don't think you will have any problems with a good hitch.

My 24 foot Roo wiggles around more than my 35ft 318bhs. Only thing more difficult to do is back into my drive way and into campsites.....

If you have a good hitch set up properly then it's really no big deal. The longer trailer is actually easier to back up because it's not as sensitive to driver inputs. Going down the road, while the longer trailer may catch more wind, again with a good hitch and WD you won't have any problems as I find it to be less squirly. I'm 56' bumper to bumper and use the shadow cast by the trailer to judge lane changes (ie, enough room to move over).

The E-Z Tow on the LaCrosses and Tracers do make a difference. My tt is about the same length and I have no problems going down th interstate. I've towed in about any condition you can think of with no issues.
I use the Equal-i-zer four point sway control hitch.
