Question Question About Champagne Paint Fading

We're looking to buy a new Crusader and would like the champagne paint, but the dealer told us that it's very high maintenance and fades quickly. We appreciate his candidness and don't want to spend the extra money if this is true. Does anyone have experience with the champagne paint and any issues with it such as fading, peeling, etc?

We have a Crusader 295RST for about 6 months now and see no signs of that or have I ever heard of it. I guess it could be true but the skeptic in me worries its a salesman who may be pushing something else. We are very happy with the color. If it means an extra coat of wax I will do it

If neglected it will look bad but so will white when oxidized. Many class A motor homes same color and most looking good after lots of years/miles.

True, every color will fade when in direct sunlight day after day UNLESS you take care of it, wash it and wax it once or twice a year and you'll be fine.
Cars fade, siding on houses fade, etc. everything fades over time
