RCA sound bar sound issues

First time out with the new 325RES and tried the sound bar and the sound doesn't work very well when playing a DVD. The voices are soft but other sounds are a little louder, any ideas?

I had the same thing but found a setting having to do with 'dynamics' Disable this feature and it will sound better.
Question - does yours play CDs? Mine did strange things with a CD, but I would think it should?

Is the "dynamics" in the TV or the RCA soundbar? Can't find it. Have not tried CD.

It's a feature in the RCA soundbar. Just make sure you can see the on screen menu on the TV.

Ok I must be real slow , I have TV on and sound bar. Can't get a menu to show up in TV from sound bar. What am I missing?

Make sure the TV input choice is the what your sound bar is hooked up to.

Ok I think I got it. I also just took a better look behind the sound bar. I thought I saw a HDMI cable input, so I think I will wait and try one of those.just sitting here listening to the rain. Also found out the shower wasn't caulked all the way on the bottom and I had a nice bunch of water on the floor.

Well I took off 5 hours today and drove to the dealer with sound bar in tow (not literally). Got there and had thier audio guy look at it, he called me and my daughter back and they had their movie playing, They said "it's working", I then told them that it plays some great but some not at all. I then pulled out the movie my daughter tried to play this weekend. They put it in and the previews played well, I said just wait til the movie starts and you won't be able to hear the voices. Movie started and my daughter said "they should be talking" Then the other guy said maybe it's the DVD. They had several trailers that were plugged in, so they loaded it in and NO VOICES. They then said well its the soundbar. The called RCA and get this the soundbar was made in 2010. The owner was great, they called PT and they said RCA quite making this model 2 weeks ago so they are giving $200.00 or I could get there replacement. I chose to get my own and send the dealer the receipt and he will reemburse me. I'm okay with that. I wasn't happy to hear that the sound bar was a 2010 model in a 2013 RV.

I'd be interested to know what you replace it with

PT will send a Insignia sound bar and a DVD player. Haven't found a combo. Probably going with a Polk audio 120 watt sound bar. Already have another DVD player. Hard to find one that will fit.
