Question Roadside assistance?

Ok..it's nearing the end of our first year of enjoyment and before spending too much we're interested in opinions...Good Sam or Coach-net? We know there will be fans and foes of both, just looking for extra info before paying after the free year. If someone has another service to toss into the mix that is appreciated as well.

Thanks,
J&B

Opinions will vary based on experience and area of country. I've been with Good Sam Roadside for 3 or 4 years. I have needed them 3 times for flat tires. They always took care of me quickly and w/out any hassles. So, I can recommend them.

Roadside

I have both because Coach-net came with the deal when I purchased the rig and I pay for Good Sam, it's part of my insurance policy. I needed to use Good Sam for a blow-out once and they were excellent! Their mechanic arrived within 30 minutes and I was back on the road, no problems.

If you read enough posts on rv.net you'll find coach net has a more favorable reputation. rv.net is run by good sams so people that are upset tend to post on that website.

I was merely telling about our experience and we were pleased with Good Sams response and service.

Good Sam coverage works on other trailer you have, boat trailers, etc. AAA does not. Not sure what Coach.net does.

Coach net does cover other vehicles like AAA does.

Have coachnet and used them twice. I had a poor phone rep the first time and a great one the second. Both times we were ultimately taken care of. Would not travel without. The first tow would have easily cost in the thousands.
