Roof vent question

I own a 2015 crusader 325 res 5th wheel. Can the roof vent over the kitchen be swapped out for a good one with speed control fan and rain/temp sensor.

Don't see why not if you can find power from a light or something.

In the process of that install now. Fish a wire over to the kitchen light in the

ceiling or the bathroom fan. Installing a Fantastic Fan 6600R with an IR
remote. Don't foresee any problems.

I would suggest you remove the plastic trim on the inside ceiling around the factory vent. Sometimes the manufacturers have already left wiring in place for the very project you're mentioning (they did in our Georgetown)

Worth the look!!!!!!!

I put one on my 294 and like the comment above, I pulled a ceiling light and found several hot wires and spliced in there.

You will have to fish a wire from the run going along the lights. Splice there and then fish it over to your vent. 20 minutes tops. To find a hot wire, I stuck a sewing needle in to the wire insulation and put my voltmeter on the needle to find an always hot to insure I was not tapping in to a switched hot.

Planostu how do you like your 294 I am thinking of getting either that or 290 at one of the next shows if I can get a good trade in deal but also looking at their upcoming Ultra Lite 28 similar design. I was thinking of going used on a 290 but at $29,995 I would rather get a new 14 or 15 with extended warranty up to 7 years
