Took our first and only trip this year in our BRAND NEW 2013 Avenger 261LT Bunkhouse last weeknd! Wow what a difference from our 2003 Starfcraft 21SB Hybrid! Temps went into the 20's on Friday night and we kept the TT at 74degrees with just an electric space heater. The wife LOVED the new layout. She said it was the first time in 5 years that she had a GREAT night of sleep and did not wake up because she was cold. The boys each have there own full size bunk in the back, and were cozy and comfy all night! We just picked camper up the week before, so this was our first set up and break down. We did not find anything wrong as of yet with the camper. We got it home cleaned it up and I winterized on Tuesday. We cant wait to break it out in late March / early April. Anything special I need to consider with winter storage that I did not have to think about with our Hybrid? Side note: I am used to having a good 1hr set up time on the camper, I think all in all we were ready to relax in less then 15min with the TT! No wet bunks, no storing bedding, all beds are made and ready for next trip before we even left the campground! I see LONG LONG trips in our future with this new TT!!

We winterized ours the 22nd of September. With any luck we will be able to have it out again in March but this is northwestern North Dakota, so could be closer to end of April or even mid May (God I hope not).

Hello everyone...we have a Crusader 320RLT Fifth wheel and we are in the process of buttoning her up for the winter season...such a sad day...anyway our camper is located in a heavily wooded area so we are concerned about mice. Anyone have any issues? Find any mice in their 320RLT? If so did you figure out how they got in? I am going to be proactive and try and make it hard for them so any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Now if you tow/drive your TT/RV each weekend and are lucky to be out West, S.Central or the SE and hitting those "beyond 30 days" camping, the that's just awesome and for us Folks up in the Northern regions, that can get in beyond 21 days of camping that is a true testament to the sport of "camping"!

I'm pretty happy we were able to start the 2012 season in March with that early Spring, I'm not so sure 2013 will provide a similar early Spring, but we can hope! This was our first year with our 2012 Tracer 3150 and we went out 9 separate times for about 25 days in total. I need to winterize "Applejack" and get her all settled in for ol man winter. It's a sad day, but we had some great 1st year memories and hopefully many more to come! Cheers!
The number of days camped in my signature are the number of nights I have slept in my TT. Listing this number is mostly for my use in regards to my investment. Others might count it differently. My work schedule is really good for RVing but it's the budget & being a caregiver for dad that holds me back somewhat.

X2 Terier, budget restrains us as both of our parents have gone to the "campground in the sky".

We're in northern MN, already had a schools out early day couple weeks ago because of heavy snow. It didn't last more than few days, but they're predicting snow this thurs. and nights in the 20's. So depressing....

A good two months for us yet. Our last trip will be to Florida over Christmas break.

This year will be the first time I will be keeping it in a heated garage, so I am on the fence whether or not to pump the pink stuff thru it...

Oh that's nice a heated garage. If you can keep it below freezing, I wouldn't bother winterizing it. Florida in December sounds nice too. Last year we had a mild winter so I winterized pretty late. I'll see how long before we have consistant freezing temps here.

You fire dogs do have a pretty awesome schedule and with her having the summer of....man I would love that. We will end up with about 30 nights in the camper by the time we are done for the season. Maybe a few more.

Nuisance, I hear ya. I dread that day. The only thing after that is the countdown until the first trip out in the spring of 2013. The last couple years that has been Easter weekend for us. Yea Kozzy you are right, I possible have about 6 more nights in it before shutting down for the season.

After just buying a 2013 Wildwood 29BHBS and having the chance to use it for three weekends including our first Thanksgiving Weekend camping, I buttoned it up and winterized it this past Sunday. Going to be a long winter waiting until spring to open her up again.

Leaving for Myrtle Beach Nov. 1st (that is if there is any east coast left after this storm) for 11 days, then winterizing (in S.C.) and dragging home to storage.
