Safety Issue on Crusader 315 RST

Mine have use barely hit. Have about 11,000 miles on mine so far. My bolts and hanger do not even have the sharp edges knocked or rounded. Been on the battlefield of a freeway called I-5 and elsewhere in the Western Mountains. Some pretty rough bumps. Looked at both sides, they seem to have had about the same travel judging by the hits into the foam.

But, heckyea, this is something to be worried about! I will try link this thread over to Rick at Prime Time, if I can find his email. All it would take is moving the line over a bit to avoid what could be a major problem.

If anyone else knows who to send this to, please, do so. Also, I do not know if this is just a Prime Time issue or not, but, for the sake of safety, go look!

All I can say is pass the word, there's a lot of rigs running around with a potential problem. I don't know who to contact at Prime Time. Maybe some of the admin's could point us in the right direction.

I did find the email to Rick K. at Prime Time. I described the problem and forwarded him the link to this thread. Hope he reads my letter and follows up. My dealings with Rick in the past have been exemplary. Made me feel good to have bought this brand/unit.

This issue would behoove the other owners out there without a Prime Time, to go look, as so many of these differing unit share many of the same design criteria.

Not sure how to move this to a more general forum on the Forest River site. Anyone in the know that can do that?
