i have read many reports of slide and frame issues. Are there certain years that this occurred and has PT resolved these issues in the later years?

I believe it was a problem in some of the 2012 - 2013 Sanibels. I have a 2014 that came off the line in late October 2013 and will be 3 years old soon with no frame problems.

They have a list of serial numbers from the "batch" of frames that potentially will or have had issues. If you're looking at a used one, call them & they will be able to tell you if the one you looking at is on the list or.....has already been repaired. If it's been repaired, from what I've seen & heard about the repairs, it will probably never be an issue again. If you're looking at new, you should be ok too.

Good luck in your search.

All "large" slides by nature of shear size & weight will always need attention, maintenance & adjustments.
