Sanibel 3501 water tank strap issue

Hello all,
Has anyone heard of a recall or have had a issue with the straps holding your water tank in. On our second trip in our 2014 Sanibel 3501 my wife noticed that the underbelly of our unit was sagging. when I looked it looked like the water tank was hanging low. We stopped at Camping World in Kissimmee Florida to have a new fan installed and had them check the sag. After 2 hours of labor t unwedge the tank from the framing it was found that the tank strap mounting holes were drilled to close to the edge and the straps had ripped from the mounting bolts. We were told that the parts were only $60.00 and the total for the parts and labor would be $1000.00. We are out of warranty by 5 months and our extended warranty company would only cover 2 hours of labor. Any help would be appreciated. I have sent a request for coverage to customer service and we are awaiting a answer.

Find another dealer! Quick!
That's like 10 hours plus labor time!

My dealer pulled and replaced my tank in 3 hours!

Run fast!

I agree that the charges seem excessive. On another note, I believe your warranty on your Sanibel is 2 years. I have a 2013 Sanibel and still have almost one year left on my warranty. It all depends on your sale date.

X2. Our 2014 3250 was purchased in Nov. 2013 so I still have 1 more year on my factory warranty. Maybe CW is unaware of Sanibels' (Forestriver) 2 year warranty.
