We are a family of four and it works incredibly well for us. One of the best bunkhouse floor plans out there imo.

What tires are on your unit? 74MPH is pretty fast for most ST tires.

I have a gmc 2500 duramax crew cab 4x4 ,was not sure if you needed a dully on a unit that big to keep it stable. I have had a lot of trailers over the years but never a fifth wheel

Ours is single axle. It is very stable. I did not want a Dual axle if I could help it. So far have been very happy with the set up.

Still debating about the pin weight on the 38qb on my 2500hd crew with the duramax srw pulling wt should be fine. I went to a dealer and looked at the door tag of a 3500 srw it had 3839 pay load verses my 2380. The only difference between the trucks is the 3500 has helper springs. The main leafs are the same also tires,rear end front end motor ect.So my though is to add helpers sense my truck is a 2015 and I would loose my shirt to trade it now also would not have the money for the trailer after that.ANY THOUGHS, ANYONE

I have a 2015 Chevy 2500HD LTZ crew cab Duramax, I bought the camper this fall but have not picked it up yet. I plan on weighing it when I pick it up to double check it. I will probably add air bags for the stability and if it is close to my axle weight rating I will upgrade my tires. I have 20 inch tires on my truck which have a lower payload than the 18 inch. Fatty1 has a 2500 and loves it. I know the diesel has a lower payload because of the extra weight but as you said the only difference in the 3500 is the extra overload spring.

Throw the extra leaf spring in or bag it, timbrens, you pick. I would roll with it. I'm sure the weight police will be all over this but I wouldn't be worried.

We have a lacrosse 318. I can't stand it. It won't stay on the road. Trailer show this last weekend had a Crusader 380MBH, loved it. The salesman gave us a nice trade and the trailer price was $49,000. He called an offered to give us an upgraded Sanibeil 38 QB with all the extras, winter package included, for the same price as the Crusader. It's up in Port Jervis. Running up there tomorrow to look at it. Probably a done deal. 2016 model. I'll be pulling it with a 2015 F350 6.7 diesel.

Check out the warranty to ensure it will not be voided if Prime Time discovers you're using the unit full time.

Sure can. The paperwork that came with mine specifically said that it is for recreation use only and is not for fulltime living.

The stresses that a fulltimer puts on their unit using it daily are wildly different than a weekender/vacationer.

We traded our 318 in for the 38 QB, Getting it Tue. Thought we liked the 318. Found out there were things we overlooked. Small bed room, no chest of drawers, issues with the fold out bed in the bunk house, lack of outside storage, small shower.and I didn't like the way it towed. Both me and my son,with two different 1 ton trucks, found it hard to keep it on the road. Yes, I had the right hitch installed. All the little thing we thought we could deal with, became issues. We wanted the bunk house, for the grandkids.

The only difference I see between the Sanibel series and the Sanibel Traveler models is smaller grey and black tanks, no dresser in the front closet and lighter pin weights (possibly due to the lack of dresser?)

We will admit to a few minor problems, others have had some major issues but, overall, most here on this forum seem to be very happy with their choice & Prime Time.

We are getting ours on Tues Mar 22nd. Ours has the dresser, which I wanted and liked. We got it for the same price as the Crusader 380 MBH, which is the same floor plan. The only thing that wasn't really an upgrade, was it didn't come with the 6 way leveling, the Crusader did. Upgraded AC, Sony surround, Bigger Reefer and Stove, Micr/Conv oven, bigger HWH and Central Vac. Oh and king size bed.
I just hope it will work out around my deck at the campground without to much modification.

I was under the impression that the whole line was made for full-time living. I kept hearing that over and over on the youtube videos sthat I was watching.
